Organza & Lace

Here is a kit that I've wanted to do in memory of my grandmothers. They were
awesome women that lived during a time and place when electricity and plumbing were something to put on their wish list. They lived without and were happy and supportive to their mates and children. Their kitchens always had the most delectable smells wafting through the air and their families were always in clean clothes that, if needed, were mended so well that you couldn't see it. There was pride and caring in everything they did for their families. They managed to make the most delicious meals on a big old wood stove, they pumped their own water for daily use and brought in wood to fuel the stove. I have to wonder what they would think of the 'modern woman'.
